Help and tips

Google Calendar checks for changes every few hours (sometimes up to a day) and can’t be refreshed manually.
Android: add the calendar once with the Google Calendar button on a computer (calendar.google.com); it then syncs to your phone.
iPhone and iPad: open this page in Safari, then tap Apple Calendar. Or go to Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar and paste the link. On iOS 17 or earlier, the path is Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar.
Outlook: Outlook.com refreshes roughly every 3 hours, work accounts every few hours. The Outlook mobile apps can’t add calendars by link, so add it on the web.
Reminders: Apple Calendar strips alerts unless you turn off “Remove Alerts” (iPhone) or uncheck it (Mac) when subscribing; Google Calendar may use its own notification settings instead.
